Our Story

Founded with a vision to create a sanctuary of learning that honors God and pursues global academic standards.

Treasure Academy opened its doors in 2002, initially established to provide a safe, high-quality, and spiritually grounded education for children of missionary families. Recognizing the gap between secular academic rigor and strong moral foundations, our founders set out to build an institution that offered both without compromise.

Over the past two decades, we have evolved from a modest missionary outreach school into a premier educational institution encompassing Nursery, Primary, and Secondary levels. Today, we welcome students from all walks of life, maintaining our core identity while producing alumni who are making profound impacts globally.

Since our journey began in 2002, Treasure Academy has stood as a beacon of hope and a fortress of academic and spiritual growth in Chikun, Kaduna. For over two decades, our mission has been clear and unwavering: to serve as a missionary family support school, specifically dedicated to training the children of missionary workers and giving back to the community as an extension of God’s work.

We believe that providing a supportive environment for those who serve the Lord is a divine calling. However, our commitment to this mission has never meant a compromise on quality. We pride ourselves on maintaining world-class educational standards that rival any institution. This is made possible by our team of professionally trained staff—educators who do not just possess academic expertise but are deeply rooted in the basic and practical application of Biblical concepts. They understand that true education is the intersection of "best practices" and "Godly principles."

Dear Friends and Families of Treasure Academy,

Reflecting on our journey since 2002, my heart is filled with profound gratitude. I vividly remember our humble beginnings—starting with just three pupils. In those early days, every lesson taught and every character trait nurtured felt like planting a tiny seed in faith. Today, by the grace of God, that seed has grown into a flourishing institution that has produced over 3,000 reputable men and women making their mark across the globe.

As Co-Founder, managing the day-to-day activities of Treasure Academy has been more than a professional role; it has been a lifelong calling. My focus has always been to ensure that the "heart" of the school—the daily interactions, the classroom environment, and the administrative excellence—remains aligned with our divine mandate.

To manage a missionary family support school requires a delicate balance of motherly care and professional rigor. My daily mission is to ensure that:

Best Practices are Applied: We maintain a world-class environment where our staff translates high educational standards into daily classroom success.
Character is Built: Beyond the textbooks, I oversee the implementation of our "character-first" philosophy, ensuring that Biblical principles are not just taught but lived out by our staff and students alike.
Every Child is Seen: From our first three students to the thousands we serve today, our commitment remains the same: ensuring every child feels valued, supported, and challenged to reach their God-given potential.
